Indus World School provides career guidance and advise in a personalised manner to the students from grade VIII onwards. The School advising and counselling team attempts to marry the interest, potential and goals of the students with the understanding of the opportunities available in future.

The School has a special focus on preparation of competitive examinations and tests:

Class IX - X:

The Sadhana program for the IX – X focusses on preparation for various competitive exams like NTSE & Olympiads. Special attention is also paid for preparing for board exams. The programs are delivered through classroom or online learning formats or Video Conferencing or Webinars.

Class XI - XII (Science Stream):

The Sadhana program for the Science Stream at the class XI focusses on attaining inputs required for performing well in JEE and other engineering entrance tests. It also ensures that the balance between CBSE and engineering entrance tests preparation is well maintained.

Class XI - XII (Commerce Stream)

Class XI (Commerce Stream): The School ensures proper advise and inputs are given to the students for career options like CA/CS, Law and Management and other programs (e.g. BBA / Integrated MBA / Hotel Management / Fashion Tech / NDA / Graduation courses which require Aptitude test).


Future Map


In Grade VIII, all students undergo Future Map: a series of scientific tests. Future Map tests a child’s Aptitude, Personality and Interest and then recommends careers that they are best suited for. After discussions with both students and parents, we help the child make a suitable career choice.

CDC – Career Development Center
At Indus World School, we consider aptitude building as a part of the curriculum. Career Development Center focuses on the following:

  • Language: Verbal and written skills of English.
  • Qualitative Skills: Reasoning and Comprehension skills.
  • Quantitative Reasoning: Key Math Skills like calculation and mathematical thinking.
